The snow threw me off so much. I was totally over my Christmas nostalgia, finally, but doing my little snow walk around the house and spin-in-the-yard, as is tradition whenever it snows, I completely expected to walk inside to the smell of Christmas trees and warm radiators and the sound of Bing Crosby. But it was not to be. So now I have to study quadrilaterals. Poo.

I am learning something. My photographic inclinations seem to come in spurts few and far between. I miss my movie star biographies, I finished them all. I suppose I could read Frank Sinatra's but I don't like him as a person as much as the rest. Oh bungs.

You can imagine my weekend in a house full of 8 nine year olds. At least it was nice out and they had "scavenger hunts." I miss third grade.

Today. Pointy foot:) It's like that part in Little Women (movie) when Laurie and Amy are about to meet in France and Laurie's slutty lady friends are walking barefoot in their beautiful dresses on the side of the fountain.... I love that part.

Mmk, so Meet Me in St. Louis was playing at Movieland today, for their Sunday morning classic thing. How perfect! Just as I had all the songs stuck in my head.

They must have read my mind. 

Bella and I rode our bikes over to the big fields near my house this afternoon instead of studying. There are some old apartment-ish buildings there that are getting torn down one by one. One of them is currently a pile of rubble. There are 3 standing, and one is now some cement steps and grass. It is terribly sad to see a big pile of rubble, with old stoves and radiators and pillows with the stuffing sticking out scattered about. The walls still have wallpaper on. It just makes you think Wow, I wonder who lived and died here? What was their story? And now it's gone.

Bella and I went to what was supposed to be the Richmond Fashion Week (Can you believe we have one? How cool!) media kick off something or other party, but what ended up being a headbanging, rather lame party not filled with fun fashion people but with really bad bands and some wild high schoolers. Not that I can talk, in that sense, but I wasn't being wild. Anyway, we went home and watched Indiana Jones, so all did not end completely horribly.

I made another one! These things bring me no end of wonder. I have been searching the web (not very thoroughly, obviously) for a very long time for this specific effect and it makes me really happy:) So though I didn't actually take these pictures today, they are counting for today because I put them together and also I am too lazy to go out and take more. Yay me.
