just the way you look tonight

Maggie, friend of Rose.

Vivi, other friend of Rose.

Mimi, sister of Bella.

Jake, friend of me, I suppose.

Mad Shell. You're acquainted.

Mary Ann, also darling friend of me.

And la petite Juliette again.

These are also from the May Day party, which apparently turned out some terrific pictures. I seem to have lost Mondo's lens cap, because of which my mother has revoked the privilege of using him until I either find it or buy him a new one. So yeah. But between now and then there will be more posts, because there are still pictures left from this party. And probably other occasions too. So never fear!

my huckleberry friend

Gee wiz, I haven't posted in ages, have I?

This is Juliette. She lives down the street from me. She was playing in our maypole, and then she found an ant friend. Isn't she simply adorable? I love the light in all of these, and the beautiful colors of the maypole.
P.S. Darling Kat is having a give away, and you should all go enter it because she has some pretty amazing stuff to give:)

in olden days a glimpse of stocking

So after King John removed his crown for lunch, I swiped it and took some lovely, sunshiney pictures myself.

Ok, so this one isn't sunshiney, but the light is absolutely beautiful.

Look at my cute little large eyes.

I simply adore the light in this one. It's so bright and cheery.

Same with the light in this one.

Oh la la, color! Makes it even sunshiney-er!

P.S. Note the cleverly written bit of the song "Anything Goes" throughout the titles of the last three posts. I saw it in New York with Sutton Foster, and I swear my mouth actually fell open multiple times. If you ever stray near NYC anytime soon, I am telling you, make a beeline for the Steven Sondheim theater. It's simply de-lovely!

was looked on as something shocking

I don't know if you remember John. This is he.

Isn't he simply dashing?

Just been crowned the King of the Flowers.

Retrospective, isn't he?

And here is his majesty with the Lady Rose.

Left to right: The Lady Rose, His Majesty the King of the Flowers, The Lady Tulip

That was how I spent my Saturday morning. Aren't you jealous?

now heaven knows, anything goes

You all know Bella, of course. Workin' hard to keep that hat on.

Lovely angle.

Super cool focus.

Dashing glance.

Pretty colors.

First time appearance: Madeleine, better known and Mad Shell to the best of us.

Lovely light.

Happy Mad Shell:)

Warm colors, happy Mad Shell again. I think Bella was being funny. How unusual.

My darling grandmother was swept up in the excitement of the royal wedding and took it upon herself to bring over all the large brimmed hats she owns. We had great fun wearing them:)

It blinks, it tilts, it rings...Oh, NYC
